How to Remove Tperfectcoupon Ad Malware (Uninstall Guide)

Tperfectcoupon is an adware program that injects ads within the underlying webpage. Ads may appear in a few different formats but they all say either "Brought by tperfectcoupon" or "Ads by Tperfectcoupon". So, it's quite easy to notice such adverts on the webs page. You have probably heard of many of the numerous types of malicious software that are out there, just waiting to prey on our vulnerabilities; both our human ones and our computer's security ones. From adware to spyware, and from Trojan Horses to Rogue Security Software, it seems that no corner of the Internet is safe these days. One online pest that you might not have heard of because it's not quite as dangerous as other types of malware, and therefore not so widely talked about, is Potentially Unwanted Programs – or PUPs for short. So what are these mysterious programs and why are we talking about them in the same breath as malware if they're not THAT dangerous? Tperfectcoupon can be classified as a PUP too. Although, some anti-virus engines strictly identifies it as adware or even malware.

The problem with programs like Tperfectcoupon is they have an uncanny knack of slipping past your security software. But how can they – especially when definitely unwanted programs can't?

First of all, a little about the name Potentially Unwanted Programs; this was dreamt up by the IT security company McAfee as a means of describing software that, whilst probably not designed to cause you explicit harm, is still something that is found to be undesirable and probably not wanted by an end user. PUPs are not all the picture of innocence however as, like their bigger, badder cousin malware, they will generally cause you problems once they've wormed their way onto your computer. Tperfectcoupon, for example, displays ads on every web page you visit. Ads are often misleading, intrusive and sometimes even offending. Imagine that your kids see such ads on websites created for kids. That's not good at all.

Tperfectcoupon usually appears as a web browser extension which the developers of this adware will argue why it is genuinely a program, and not malware. However, the chances of you needing a new web browser extension or add-on are slim and many people find this to be an intrusion of their online privacy.

This brings up the question of the program only being potentially unwanted: that's because, again the developer will say that their product has a use. After all, web browser extensions etc are undeniably useful. So why would you NOT want them installed on your computer? Well that's because programs like Tperfectcoupon have been designed with one person in mind, and no, that's not you. It's the software developer. You see, the web browser extensions present you with are nothing more than devices designed to redirect web traffic to the developer's, or someone they are working for, website or constantly display ads on your computer.

What this means is that you'll type a search query or a URL into the browser and instead of being sent to the website or page you were looking for, you'll be directed somewhere completely different – and more often than not, to a site that is at the less desirable end of the scale!

What is more, it can cause problems, resulting in unpleasant behavior on your PC. Not to mention that it displays annoying pop-up adverts and running adware component on your computer's operating system making its processing speeds slow right down.

I think that the majority of us typically see Tperfectcoupon and similar programs as just another type of slightly less dangerous malware.
